The year after first publishing a folio edition of Mercator's Atlas in 1606, Jodocus Hondius prepared a set of small-scale plates for a pocket-sized atlas.  The geography for this map was taken directly from Hondius' folio map of Africa of 1606.

This map is from the German edition of the atlas of 1609.
