Richard and Penelope Betz welcome you to Hemispheres Antique Maps & Prints, specializing in fine original antique maps from the 16^th through 19^th centuries.  Our inventory is strongest in antiquarian maps of Africa though we have fine antique maps of the world & other regions as well.

We have just added some superb world antique maps in original color by Blaeu, Hondius, and Tavernier, as well as some special maps of the Americas, and additional maps of Africa including those by Munster. Also on our website are attractive antique maps by Speed and Munster including ones of Africa.    

We have added a number of antique books with antique maps by Linschoten, Ludolf, Heylin, etc.  Also a tremendous number of important reference books on antique maps and cartography, a number of which are scarce books (Ortelius facsimile atlas, other Theatrum facsimile atlases, Laor, Cortesao, Tibbetts, Nordenskiold, etc.).  These can be found under "Books" on our "Index to All Maps & Books" webpage, or by clicking on the following link for "Books & Atlases".
