Richard and Penelope Betz welcome you to Hemispheres Antique Maps & Prints, specializing in fine original antique maps from the 16^th through 19^th centuries.  Our inventory is strongest in antiquarian maps of Africa though we have fine antique maps of the world & other regions as well.

We now have added a number of reference books on antique maps and cartography to our web site.  These can be found under "Books" on our "Index to All Maps & Books" webpage.  We also have three on-line catalogue of what we believe to be the largest single group of antique maps of Africa and southern Africa since the Oscar Norwich collection, now at Stanford University.  You can find these catalogs on the "Index To All Maps & Books" webpage. This set of catalogs should provide a useful cartobibliographic resource for maps of Africa, southern Africa, seacharts, and books, from 1513 to the late 1800s.
