ORDERING INFORMATION

Our Guarantee
All of our maps are guaranteed to be original, published on or near the date given, and in the condition described. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with a map, you may send it back to us within seven days for a complete refund of the cost of the map, as long as it is in the same condition as when you received it. If you wish to return a map to us, please contact us first regarding shipping details.  

Payment Methods
All items are offered subject to prior sale. Orders can be placed by email, telephone, fax, letter, or through a link to our secure order form on each individual map page. Please contact us for information on our mailing location.

We accept payment via credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover), through a bank wire transfer, or by personal check (in US$). Checks should be made payable to Hemispheres Antique Maps & Prints. We have a 'secure order form' for safe credit card purchases over the internet. If you wish to use your credit card but do not want to use our order form, you may still telephone us with your credit card information.  If you wish to pay via a bank wire transfer, contact us for our bank details.  Please ensure that your bank transfers the full amount (many banks deduct various processing fees).

Shipping
We ship maps via FedEx and will provide notification if we ship using another means.  We normally ship maps wrapped in tissue and placed in cardboard tubes.  On occasion, the maps are mailed in flat cardboard containers.  We do not charge extra for outbound packaging, insurance, or mailing within the United States for a total map order over $500.  For total map orders under $500, we charge $25.00 for FedEx packing and shipping costs.  The customer assumes full responsibility for the costs of return shipping and insurance.   

We ship throughout the world.  Please contact us regarding charges for shipping outside the United States.  For shipments outside of the United States, we are not responsible for any duties, taxes, or other charges imposed by customs officials of other countries. 

For security reasons, we require a signature with the FedEx delivery.  If you have a signature waiver form on file with FedEx, we recommend that you have this waiver removed for this shipment.  If a map is delivered with a waiver of the signature, we do not accept responsibility for the shipment in case of loss or damage.
